Okay my mid April trip was scrapped due to the hellacious winds that were ripping through Erie at that time. Now it looks pretty good for my May 10th-13th trip. Might get a little wet but that's okay as long as it's not too windy. Eager to set them bandits and boards out . Anyone else going up at that time? Would love to share info and reports.

Thinking about booking a charter to lake Erie for Walleye in June.....
Know nothing about who, when, where or price.
Any thoughts?

I recommend Juls, she charters out of a Ranger 621, so everything you do in her boat you could do in a boat that the everyday fisherman would use. She'll also let you set your own boards so everything you learn you can transfer to your own boat. She might be booked up by now but google Juls lake erie and you'll find her page.

Walleye fishing has been pretty good out of Port Clinton . Fishermans Wharf in Port Clinton has walk on head boats you can drift fish out of , or charter boats if you want to charter. I like the drift boats as they are large and cost is reasonable $40 seniors a trip, or $47 on weekends. As always you should monitor weather there , as water can get quite muddy after storms !
