I had an hour to kill last night just before dark. I struck out on a Ned rig, but got two ripping a small minnow crank off the weed tops. With all the rain, the fish are up really shallow. I spooked a couple that nearly had their backs out of the water.

Try my ned rig setup that I use at the golf course Jim.I slide about half the worm on a 2/0 baitholder hook exposed and fish it like a jerk bait.It sinks very slow so the jerking action keeps it suspended.

Thanks RT. That's sounds like a mini-Senko sort of rig. I had a 1/10oz weedless Ned head with a green TRD on it. Greenery was pretty thick out to about 8 ft from shore, so an exposed hook would have been rough.
