I just wanted to take a memento and share this with you. This past Thursday, we lost our beloved Thunder of 13 plus years. He was a loyal friend, companion, and cherished member of our family that was part of what we call home. He was the neighborhood dog and everyone knew him. He loved playing ball, going for walks, and chasing squirrels and bunnies. He loved running with my daughter and playing catch as my son and I practiced baseball. More importantly, he watched over my kids as they grew up together. When the kids were not home, he would follow my wife every step she would take. Our hearts are broken but are filled with the love and memories that he gave us. He will be missed.

Thanks for all the kind words. It’s been a hard week for the family, but our love and memories have gotten us through it. Here’s one of my favorite pics of Thunder.

My wife and I both promised each other that we don’t want to go through the pain of loss again. My daughter is away at college and my son will be going into high school next fall. We do a lot of traveling for both because of sports. So to answer your question Bill, not anytime soon.
