FINALLY!!! In the water by 7:00 and back in the driveway at 11:00.They finally started moving in but aren't everywhere yet.87th slip had fish and the shore guys were doing well,I was getting some there but mostly small.Checked the mouth of the river but no marks of any size, same with the turnaround by crowleys so I doubled back to the 89th slip and they were stacked in there.I hid from the wind behind a barge and got a limit of 9s and 10s with 1 jumbo. There was nobody shore fishing there, it is heavily posted with no trespassing and no fishing signs.Everyday they should get more plentiful and be in other areas.Too bad it's gonna get so cold for awhile and bring salt just in case.

Stopped by Navy Pier today at 8:30. Approx 12 fisherman caught a total of 5 fish, 1 jumbo from 5:30-8:30 am.

So, I went to river under Columbus bridge and got skunked, no bites using medium fat heads until noon.

River was pretty clear, but I didn't leave my vehicle at the pier, so I couldn't tell.

Fished near 95th today and pretty slow. Between four of us we ended up with maybe 10. All 9-10” fish. Buddy of mine limited out on nice fish yesterday evening same spot. Definitely some schooling going on in the river.

Any truth the the lake-link .com report as of yesterday they are letting people fish the slip?

You can fish in the slip about from the mouth to maybe 50 yards down..... it's not 100% open but fishing in the slip is open somewhat. I went there for the first time ever last Friday and took home 8 8-10"ers
