I’m pretty good with a couple guns but I was wondering what everyone else is using.
For me 12 gauge Remington 1100 with copper solids is great.
Backup gun is a 20 gauge Remington 870 with Remington sluggers-smooth bore

I recently bought a 20 gauge browning bps but I have some copper solids but they don’t make them anymore so I need to figure a plan B.

I have Sluggers in 12 gauge along with some federal’s in 12 gauge but I don’t want to stray away from the copper solids until I’m out.

Thoughts?

My Mossberg 500 was extremely accurate up to 150 yards with the Remington Copper Solids. The best and most accurate replacement I have found is the
Brenneke K.O. A lot cheaper at $6.99 a box vs the $17 I was paying for the Copper Solids.

Hornaday gets my vote for my savage 220, they shoot better than I can aim.

In my smooth bore 12ga 870, Remington Sluggers is all I've ever fed it and is very accurate. I've used that gun now for 45+ years. Last year I started hunting with a 12ga 1187 slug gun and found the Hornady Whitetail sabots to be very accurate. I found them on sale for 8.99 a box last season. They were very effective on the deer I harvested last season.

Best in the Remington 1100 12 ga Hastings barrel are Federal Barnes Expanders which are no longer available. Remington is now carrying an Expander slug but I haven't exhausted my Federal supply yet.
In the Savage 220 bolt action its 3 in Remington Accu-tips.

Savage 220 shooter here. Remington AccuTip's shoot the best out of mine, but I have not been overly thrilled with their terminal performance on a couple deer now. I love the Barnes bullets, all I shoot anymore out of my muzzleloader and rifles. I've migrated this year to the Remington Barnes Expanders Bulldawg mentioned. They shot only marginally worse than the AccuTip's in my testing and I have 100% confidence in the Barnes. Flat out killer of a bullet. Hoping my boys get to test it out next weekend during youth season.
Savage 220 is as accurate as hell for a slug gun, only thing I dislike about it is the chinsy plastic magazine.

Brenneke Black Magic...870 with a slug barrel, rifled choke tube. It's what shoots best for me.
