Anyone know a place for filling your tanks for powerline fishing? My father in law is looking for a place in the city, the one he used in the past stopped doing it. Don't know the place he used in the past. He runs a extinguisher tank. Good luck to all this spring.

You can call Accurate Fire Extinguisher Service 6750 W.Diversey or send a pm to shaguna on this site. He's the powerline guru.

Anyone know the going rate for a filled tank? The guys on the FB powerline group are way out of line for their tanks.

Do the tanks lose any juice if not used. Going to go Sunday and haven’t gone in about 2 years. Have a fresh tank sitting. Is it still good or do I need to recharge?

You should be good to go. I bought a tank 3 years back from Shaguna. I've only been out a handful of times within the last few years and have been out twice this year. Same tank and it's still working like a champ.

you can weigh the tank to make sure, but it shouldnt leak down . there are 2 weights stamped on the discharge handle . one is the full weight the other is the empty weight.

Thanks for the suggestion Bulldawg. Sounds like my father-in-law found a place a few days ago. Good luck to all.

Just checked with Lee's bait & Tackle in Elk Grove.

He can get them re-charged, tanks must be discharged prior to bringing them in.
