Couple from yesterday. Ended up with about 2 dozen bass and a 24" pike.

Sounds like you had some fun with those green ugly creatures. Any crappie come to play with you?

Good job figuring what they wanted.

Had one hit a jerk bait in Carpenters and watched a heron catch and swallow a 10" crappie whole in the same general area.

Any Musky or walleye accidental catches? Had a Musky steal a flicker shad while trolling on Wednesday.

Nice bass! Just jerkbaits?

Not this time. There were boats all over the mouth of the river and every bridge we passed. Did see a few walleye being netted at the mouth while we were passing. I generally don't fish the north end and the only muskies I have ever caught out there have always been on Channel and Catherine.

Jerkbaits, swimjigs, spinnerbaits, and senkos is all we threw. Most of the buck bass were on senkos. All the bigger fish, including the pike were on moving baits.
